DESCRIPTION

Identified also by the trade name "VOLTERRANEE", they are used to carry out floors to be poured completely in place. In the lower part they are provided with two particular side projections - the "tongues". Once the blocks have been joined, they form the "raceways", the bottom of which is made up by the tongues and the sides by the block sides joined and arranged according to a specific texture.
These raceways make up the formworks of the freshly-mixed concrete ribs that are the load-bearing structure of the floor to be set up. In them the steel reinforcement is arranged properly sized and shaped to receive the freshly-mixed concrete cast.
The sizes of our floor blocks assembled in place allow an interaxis of the floor masonry of cm 40.0 and a rib width of cm 10.0. According to the definition given by the UNI 9730, they are identified as follows: "Blocco Solaio 1/B UNI 9730 - h 40 or 25"

WE RECOMMEND THEM FOR…

All those situations in which scarce material handling is possible (i. e. lack of hoisting gears, small handling room), where no prefabricated large-sized elements can be used, for example in the redevelopment building yards or in case of plan or structure irregularities. They are very appreciated as they allow to form a uniform floor soffit in bricks offering the plaster an homogeneous basis that avoids the annoying "signing" due to the different behaviour of two different materials: brick and concrete.
